Order

Prices

OpenAI says GPT-5.2 Pro plays the same more-compute role as GPT-5 Pro on the newer GPT-5.2 base, which it says is better at instruction following, accuracy, vision, front-end code and spreadsheets and adds an xhigh reasoning effort and context compaction. Same 400K-token context and text and image input. GPT-5 Pro lists at 29% less per 1M input tokens and 29% less per 1M output tokens than GPT-5.2 Pro. It came out 2 months earlier and has an older knowledge cutoff (September 2024 against August 2025) and a larger max output (272K against 128K tokens).
Can I self-host GPT-5 Pro?
No. OpenAI does not publish the weights; GPT-5 Pro is available only through hosted APIs.
